Post subject:  How can I get rid of orphan shares

I've been using neorouter for some time with mixed Linux/Win XP configuration. After switching from XP to Linux (Puppy), I've got new computer name in my nr Domain and I had to create shares from scratch. Then I switched from Puppy Linux to Zorin and had to create shares from scratch again because my old shares being showing via nr don't work now. I can access my new shares from remotes, but while browsing net I see old shares' names along with new names. It's very frustrating because sometimes I can hardly tell which share to use.
Is there any way to get rid of these illusive shares? I have no Windows on my machine now, so I can't "unshare" them.
See it from file browser point of view:
Public Docs - this is old Windows share it's unaccessible now
New Public Docs - this is new share from Linux. It's accessible from everywhere

By the way. Sometimes my computer is visible in nr under it's old "Windows name", sometime under it's newer "Puppy name".

Hi k_w_a,

Those shared folder information ( computer names ) come from CIFS/SAMBA protocol. It may cache the info or still resolve your virtual IP addresses. If you use the same VIP, it would be confused for the shared folders.

So use the virtual IP to access those computers. If you use NR Pro, you can set the Packet Filtering rules to filter out broadcast packets.

Thanks,
