Post subject:  Zsun Openwrt+Neouter-same MAC address's

Hi
Have managed to get a few Zsun devices https://wiki.hackerspace.pl/projects:zsun-wifi-card-reader and install OpenWRT CC on them-work great, and tiny form factor. However, I am seeing something strange on them-they all appear to have the same MAC address, when NR is used!
If I install NR on 2 Zsun devices, and assign 2 different user accounts, no matter what I do, as soon as the 2nd one comes online on the NR Server, the first one drops off.If I turn back on the 1st one, the 2nd one drops off-and the cycle repeats. Upon investigation, there seems to be the same MAC address being used, from a NR client point of view-each device has a different wlan0 MAC address (I can confirm that) but I think the bridge (br-lan) is messing things up.

So....when the interface nrtap is generated-where does it take its MAC from?-and what MAC is passed through to the NR Server?-as I know this is the part the NR server has in its db-and is probably the reason why it see's 2 devices with the same MAC.

cheers

Thanks for that-its files I've never saw them before-dont see them in the /usr/local/ZebraNetworkSystems/NeoRouter folder on my Linux clients, or the server. Are these Windows specific?

cheers

You can just create /usr/local/ZebraNetworkSystems/NeoRouter/Feature.ini in your systems.

The Feature.ini should be for all platforms, some of configure items are obviously for Linux, such as

NicInterfaceName=eth

(Windows does not use eth0 for its network interface)
