I've already read the instruction...
maybe it's my fault but...I can't understand how ho configure it!
how start the demon and how configure the server?
In the instructions there ins't anything!!(see below)

Install NeoRouter server for Linux

1. Visit http://www.neorouter.com/Downloads.html and download NeoRouter Server for your Linux distribution.

2. Install

* Ubuntu & Debian: sudo dpkg -i nrserver-<version>-<release>.i386.deb
* Fedora & SUSE: sudo rpm -i nrserver-<version>-<release>.i386.rpm

Note - OpenSSL on Fedora: NeoRouter is compiled using openssl 0.9.8g on Fedora 9. If you have an older version of Fedora, please upgrade the openssl package. You may also need to add the following symbol links:

cd /lib
ln -s libcrypto.so.0.9.8g libcrypto.so.0.9.8
ln -s libssl.so.0.9.8g libssl.so.0.9.8

3. Configure firewall:

* Fedora:

In a terminal, run command "sudo nano /etc/sysconfig/iptables", add "-A INPUT -m state --state NEW -m tcp -p tcp --dport 32976 -j ACCEPT" before "COMMIT".

* SUSE:
o a. Launch firewall configuration tool
o b. Choose "Allowed Services" in the left panel
o c. Choose "External Zone" in the first drop-down box
o d. Choose "NeoRouter server" in the second drop-down box
o e. Click "Add" button
o f. Click "Next"
o g. Click "Finish" to save the changes

* Ubuntu does not support firewall by default.

If you got any firewall enabled then its the best to read its manual how to open the ports. Default port of the NeoRouter server is 32976 TCP

4. User Accounts: you can Sign In NeoRouter Network Explorer or configuration console using the same account you use to sign into Linux. You can also create other NeoRouter accounts in the configuration console. This is the best done with NeoRouter Configuration Explorer, description below.

5. Setup domain: NeoRouter domain functions like a dynamic DNS server. You can enter domain instead of server IP when signing in NeoRouter client.

* a. Launch NeoRouter Configuration Explorer
* b. Choose settings tab, and edit domain. See here for more details.

6. You are ready to accept clients to join your network. Notice, server will not be visible as a machine in the network.

HOW TO DO IT?

Post subject:  Re: NEOROUTER SERVER ON UBUNTU

Currently NeoRouter Configuration Explorer is only available in Windows.

You will need to install "NeoRouter Free for Windows" on a different PC, launch Configuration Explorer there, and connect to your Ubuntu NeoRouter server to configure it.

Sorry about the confusion. I will try to update the wiki. We are also planning to add more functionality to our Linux client.

Thanks!

Post subject:  Re: NEOROUTER SERVER ON UBUNTU

You can use the IP address of the Ubuntu box. After you have configured NeoRouter domain, you can enter NR domain name in the "log on to" box. In the username/password box, you can enter the same credential you used to log into Ubuntu.

For more details, please see http://www.neorouter.com/wiki/index.php ... er#Sign_In.
