I had been using OpenVPN on my OpenWRT box since a long time and I recently discovered neorouter.

It works very good on the router, however, I found no way to access the router itself over neorouter. My notebook is assigned an IP address from the server but the server itself does not keep an IP, nor an interface on the openwrt box.

There are certain services running on the openwrt box, such as an HTTP proxy, socks4/5 server, possibly others, which are only accessible through the internal network of openwrt. all ports are closed from outside, except neorouter and ssh.

How can we ensure that the server itself is reachable from the clients?

Thanks,

Fast

Hi fastguy,

We are working on the NeoRouter Client for in-a-box, with which you can access the router directly from any other computer in the virtual network. Coming soon. Stay tuned.

Thanks,
KevinZ - NeoRouter team
