This question I think is missing in the FAQ:

is it possible to use multiple ACL's? For instance, the default user is able to connect to all my pc's in the network (http(s) and mail), but a second user "admins" has more rights (Remote Desktop / FTP)

Unfortunately I don't have the answer (yet)

2nd question: default ACL seems to be switched of on all computers, so any access is possible.. Can that be default on?

Hi LimaMike,

Thanks for your questions. We will add it to FAQ.

1. is it possible to use multiple ACL's? For instance, the default user is able to connect to all my pc's in the network (http(s) and mail), but a second user "admins" has more rights (Remote Desktop / FTP)

That's how it works right now. The logic is similar to the Windows Domain/Account management. Whenever you log on to a NeoRouter Domain using a NeoRouter user account, whose permissions will be applied to the computers he connect to. In your case, by setting ACL for different users, you can allow default users to access http while user A have more rights to other services, such as RDP, FTP and so on.

2. 2nd question: default ACL seems to be switched of on all computers, so any access is possible.. Can that be default on?

Technically yes. Currently the default setting is ACL turned off. If more users request to set default to ON, we can change.

Thanks,
KevinZ - NeoRouter team
