Since you can RDP to the remote machine over NR network, the tunnel is working well and this must be related to RDP settings. I don't think it's a firewall issue.
Please check if the option to 'Play on Remote computer?is enabled on the computer. To do this follow the steps below: Click on 'Start' and type 'Remote desktop connections' and Enter. In the 'Remote desktop connections' click on 'Options' and select 'Local Resource' tab. Then click on 'Settings' and under 'Remote audio Playback' select 'Play on Remote computer' Click OK'
