When attempting to use "sudo nrserver -run" I get the error

Code:

nrserver failed to start due to error -2147024798.
Segmentation fault

I've ready some other topics with this error, and noticed that you asked for a log. I'm not entirely sure how to do this, so if you could elaborate I'd be grateful. Thanks

Hi damonx,

Can you give the version of OS and NR? And I don't think nrserver support the parameter "-run". Please use the following command to run it.

sudo /etc/init.d/nrserver.sh start

You can also run "sudo /usr/bin/nrserver" to start or test it.

Alright, it shows as running now. Still cannot connect via the configuration tool in windows.

Well, the problem now appears to be with my windows box. I had my room mate who's also on my network connect to the server with the configuration tool without any problem

I'm having the exact same problem, Ubuntu 10.4:

I've tried reinstalling with no effect. Unable to connect with a linux mint or Win 7 client. Thanks
