hi 4ltsen,

Thanks for using NeoRouter.
We have been using TP-LINK TL-WR1043ND for development/test purpose and it should meet your requirements.
You can find more devices at OpenWrt website: http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/start. Look for devices with target type brcm47xx or ar71xx. We require 4MB of flash and highly recommend 8MB for extensibility.

Thanks,
Luke

Thanks. Very good device and should meet my needs.

I noticed that WR1043ND is Atheros AR9132 instead of Atheros AR71* is that Ok?

http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr1043nd

I already have a Zywall USG 100 frontending traffic to internet and also acts a firewall etc. I would like to use this device to handle all VPN Connections.

a) What ports should I open on Zywall?
b) Do you have instructions to share :) ?

Best Wishes,
Santosh

hi Santosh,

Yes, TL-WR1043ND works. OpenWRT AR71xx build works for various CPU/platform types, including AR9132.
NeoRouter server listens at port 32976. You can also change it to custom port.
You can find instructions in our User's Manual: http://www.neorouter.com/Documents.html. Specially please look at the following chapters:
- 2.2 Server Setup
- 2.2.6 Install NeoRouter Server on OpenWRT Backfire
- 5.1 Change Server Port
Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks,
Luke
