Hi all
I have installed the following setup:
- NeoRouter server and client (free version) on my Windows Home Server 2003. It has IP 10.0.0.3.
- NeouRouter client (free version) on a Windows 7 Ultimate Workstation PC. It has IP 10.0.0.2
- The connection is a Peer-to-peer UDP connection.
- Opened the appropriate port for UDP and TCP in my router.
Neorouter does work a little: if I change the description of a computer on one computer, the change can be seen on the other.
But that's about all the connection that I have. Ping times out except if I ping the server from itself, i.e. the Win7 PC cannot ping anything called 10.0.0.x.
Also on the Win7 PC, an ipconfig /all does not show anything that can be identified as a NeoRouter network adapter.
I have tried to turn the Windows firewall off: that does not change anything.
So, where do I go from here? I have tried to enable logging on the server but but I cannot see from the log file what's wrong.
