Hello, I had recently started to use neorouter. I have gotten server and my clients set up and are connected to the domain. They show up in the list of computers as if they are on and connected, but I can not ping them? It just comes back as request timed out. I am at work while receiving this error and the server is running at my home desktop pc. Any suggestions as to why this would be doing this?

I am having the same problem... by the way, I have always had it, never got fixed or explained. Using Professional version.

Hi dr3van,

Several things may need to check:

1.Check if the target machine enables the icmp echo , i.e. ping response. Check the firewall settings

2.Check the NR virtual adapter on the source machine, see if it's up and has the virtual IP address assigned. Check ipconfig or ifconfig.

Thanks,
KevinZ - NeoRouter team
