Hello,
My name is Willy and I have a little company in France.

I'm a newbie in network system and I need to install a VPN for my company.

This VPN is for the seller team when they are out of the office to connect to the company network to make quotation.

I download neorouteur free on your web site and install it.
The configuration is:

I have install neorouteur server on my server. the IP adress of my serveur is 192.168.1.53

All the computer of my company are in the network 192.168.1.XXX

I have install also a neorouteur client on my serveur.

I install neorouteur client on my laptop witch was connected to internet in my home.

I configure Neorouteur server DHCP to give adress starting at 192.168.1.200 and mask 255.255.255.0

So the neorouteur adapter on my server take the adress 192.168.1.202 and my laptop 192.168.1.203
All the client are correctly connected.
I can ping with my laptop the adress 192.168.1.202 but not 192.168.1.53 and not the other computer of my network.

Can you help me please?

regards,

Willy

Hi wpoupin,

Please follow the steps described in the User Manual, chapter 7.Troubleshooting and Support to troubleshoot your issue.

Basically if ping works for one of your computers but others not, the firewall settings would be the cause. Sometimes the firewall blocks the icmp echo, so that you cannot see the ping response. In this case you may want to try other apps, such as rdp, vnc or ftp and so on.

If you can sign in properly and see the computer list, the virtual network is ready and most issues would be caused by settings.

Thanks,
KevinZ - NeoRouter team
