Hello !

Sorry for my bad english, i will try to explain everything good, but i'm still french...

My Raspberry Pi work fine as NRServer but now i can't connect to the server with my phone.
I was using the NeoRouter Remote Access (Free) on my old android phone without any problem !
Now i changed my phone (the new is again and Android).
I done a factory reset on the old phone.
And on my new phone, i installed NRclient again !
I entered the name, the password and the domain.
All is ok...
But i can't connect.
I have always the same error:
Quote:
The server has exceeded the maximum number of allowed computers.(code=0x106)

I though my Rpi is up since too long time ago and need a restart... but it's same after a reboot.
Then i added an account on the server (new name, password and account as admin) but i still have the same issue.
Why ? And how can i correct it ?
I never needed this second account before and all was working... now i have 2 accounts and it's still not working !

The only one client working now is my PC (W7 x64).
The phone should connect to the Rpi (NRserver) and then let me control the PC (using VNC). I done it easily with the last phone... but can't do anything now !

I tryed with the other soft: NeoRouter VPN Free but i have the same issue !

I tryed with a false domain name and i have a message saying the domain is not answering...
I tryed with a false name/password and i had a message saying can't identify.

Thanks in advance !

Hi Topodoco,

Please delete your old mobile device from the computer list in the NR Web Console or NR Config Explorer.

NR Free allows up to 2 mobile devices, for more device will give the error message. see the release notes: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5259

So remove your old device to release the slot, then your new device and register to it.

Thanks,
KevinZ - NeoRouter team

Hello KevinZ,

thanks for your support !

I tryed to read the link you sent in the last answer, but didn't understand anything...
Why are only 2 devices allowed ? It's not wrote in the link...
By the way, it's not a problem for me, i will only use my Smartphone and my Tablett.
But i don't know how to delete the old devices.
Since my server is running on my Rpi, i don't have acces with the "NeoRouter Configuration Explorer".
I tryed to use the shell on my Rpi, to delete the computer but it was only 1 !
I deleted the "computer" but nothing happend !
I still have the same issue.
Then i deleted the 2 "users" and then wasn't able to connect to the server (user unknow).
I added a user again (as admin) and tryed to connect...
The user was know, but i still have the same issue

What should i do ?
Should i really erase all my SD card and start again everything from 0 ?
It would be very bad for me...

Thanks in advance !

Hi Topodoco,

Sorry for pasting a wrong url. Here is the NRFree v1.9 server release notes: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5231

Quote:
3. NeoRouter Free allows up to 256 clients connected to the server, including maximum of 2 mobile clients (NeoRouterHD for Android/IOS) and maximum of 2 web clients (NeoRouter Remote Access Client). Each mobile client or web client has maximum of 2 concurrent sessions.

Btw, NR Pro and NR Mesh users have no this limitation.

If you have a chrome or safari browser , you can simply go to the following link to use the Neorouter Web Console to manage your server, do not need to run NR Configuration explorer.

http://www.neorouter.com/webconsole_free.html?3800

Or please send your database file to us so that we can help you to investigate it.

Thanks,
KevinZ - NeoRouter team

Thank you KevinZ !

You solved my problem !!

I tryed this link in few browser... (on my PC i have only IE and FireFox) but wasn't able to open it !

On my Smartphone, i used Chrome, and after few disconnection (bad 2G network) it finally worked !

There i saw my 2 devices !!

Was my 2 last smartphone !

I deleted them all and now i'm able to connect to the server with my new smartphone !

All is ok !!

Thank you !

 PS: if this link shoud be avaible for other browsers, it could be helpful.

Neorouter Free. "The server has exceeded the maximum number of allowed computers". I have only 10 Linux/Windows computers. And I can't connect via Android. For Web client it's ok. And also it worked for OpenSuse, but now not. Have you any ideas?
